$120,000 - $140,000+ potenial Job Summary A growing Twin Cities automotive dealership is seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Service Manager to partner with the Service Director to lead a very busy shop with over 60 service employees. This leadership role is responsible for driving profitability, improving operational efficiency, developing high-performing teams, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in dealership service management and a strong understanding of fixed operations performance metrics. Key Responsibilities Partner closely with the Service Director to lead daily service operations Drive profitability and growth within the Service Department Lead, develop, and support service advisors and technicians Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs), including: Effective labor rate Technician productivity and efficiency Customer satisfaction (CSI) MPI and video MPI performance Implement strategies to increase customer retention and service traffic Maintain strong relationships with OEM representatives and vendors Ensure compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer standards, and safety regulations Lead hiring, training, coaching, and performance management of department staff Qualifications 5+ years of automotive service management leadership experience Previous experience as a Service Manager in a dealership environment Strong understanding of dealership service financials and fixed operations Proven ability to improve profitability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction Excellent leadership, communication, and team development skills Experience with dealership management systems such as Dealertrack and Xtime What We Offer Competitive compensation with performance-based bonuses Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid vacation and holidays Ongoing professional development opportunities Supportive leadership team and positive work culture Why Join Us We believe fixed operations are the foundation of long-term customer loyalty and dealership success.
