Debit Card & Operations Specialist

Inspire Federal Credit Union is looking for a detail-oriented Debit Card & Operations Specialist to support our debit card and electronic payment services. This role is key to ensuring accurate processing, fraud monitoring, and exceptional support to our members and internal teams. Responsibilities Process debit card requests (orders, reissues, PIN resets, limit changes) Handle disputes, fraud claims, and chargebacks Monitor fraud activity and escalate concerns Research and resolve card-related inquiries Support digital wallet maintenance and troubleshooting Maintain records, logs, and transaction documentation Assist with audits, reporting, and operational tasks Support ACH exceptions, wires, and reconciliations Respond to internal requests and department inboxes Identify process improvements and workflow efficiencies Perform additional duties as needed to support departmental and organizational operations Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Banking or credit union experience preferred Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Sound judgment and decision-making skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to travel between branch locations as needed Work Environment Primarily office-based with regular computer use. Occasional travel to branches, training, or events may be required. Flexibility may be needed during system updates or critical service situations.
