The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys working with their hands, has some basic mechanical experience (even if it's a hobby or doing your own car repair), and works well on a team. Overview of job The person in this role performs operations on finished, machined parts. This includes but is not limited to deburring, sanding, assembling, tumbling, and washing. This person will also occasionally be called upon to operate and/or perform routine maintenance on CNC machines as well as other duties as needed. If you're a student and considering a career in manufacturing or in engineering, this will get you experience in a hands-on environment. Or if you're simply looking for work and you're mechanically inclined, this might be the job for you. Qualifications No experience is required for this role but it is a plus. The person hired needs to be consistent, easy to work with, teachable, and must have some mechanical ability/intuition. Physical requirements Candidates must be able to stay on their feet for extended periods of time and be able to lift 40 lbs. Schedule To be determined, but typically 6am-3pm or 7am-4pm. Overtime is often available. Friday schedule is somewhat flexible. Compensation and Benefits Hourly pay is to be determined based on experience.
