Bonus Potential Summary/Objective The Decision Support Coordinator is responsible for the integration, coordination and facilitation of utilization management, care facilitation and discharge planning functions; assisting the administrative functions that support the case management plan process and utilization review process with the goal of providing timely, accurate information to payers. Essential Job Duties Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Communicate and provide payers with needed documentation to obtain approved authorizations for medical cases. Check department mail and messages and respond accordingly. Manage and filter vendors as they come to visit staff and/or patients. Coordinates referrals/triggers/orders to the department to ensure delivery of services is provided in a timely manner. Preforms clerical and administrative tasks within the CM department; as well as assisting with maintenance of the department shared drive downtime forms and templates by keeping them up to date and available. Notify director manager of any peer-to-peer cases. Required Education and Experience High School diploma or equivalent Required License/Certifications N/ASimilar remote jobs
