Deckhand/Bartender Eureka, CA 95501 From $18 an hour - Part-time, Full-time From $18 an hour - Part-time, Full-time The Harbor Cruise Boat Madaket is looking for a safety-minded, customer service orientated person with a can-do attitude to join the deckhand team in serving our locals and tourists for the 2026 cruise season. Seasonal Position starting immediately through October 15th. Responsibilities Include All onboard guest services, including embarking and disembarking customers, tying and untying the vessel, making and serving beverages, ensuring passenger safety aboard the vessel during cruises, and keeping the vessel clean. This is a fun and active position that requires you to be on your feet most of the time while attending to customers' needs before, during, and after cruises. Position Requirements 100% Drug Free- no State legalized drugs (Fed. Law) Pre-employment Drug Testing (Fed. Law) CPR/First Aid certification-we provide after 2 weeks(Fed. Law) Random Drug Testing - duration of employment (Fed. Law) 21 years of age or older (Fed. Law) Bar tending experience-will train Money handling/POS experience Able to perform physical tasks which include lifting up to 50lbs, continuous walking and/or standing, transit stairs multiple times per shift, and tolerate exposure to all types of weather. Willing to work extra hours/days, or as a fill in, which includes evenings, mornings, weekends, and all holidays. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist in the safe boarding and disembarking of passengers, including passenger counting Handle mooring lines when docking the vessel Maintain daily pre and post cruise inventory Understand/Learn procedures for Man Overboard, Fire at Sea, and Abandon Ship Participate in USCG required training drills Ensure proper setup for each cruise Deep cleaning of the vessel and its equipment Act as a lookout during inclement weather Tend bar and serve drinks POS use and handling money Available Hours and Days Three to four days a week, mornings, evenings, and fill-in hours. The hours and days listed below are the vessel's scheduled daily hours and do not include additional time that will be available with private charters. Sunday 10:00 am to 5:45 pm Monday 12:00 to 5:45 pm Tuesday 12:00 to 7:00 pm Wednesday 12:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday 12:00 to 7:00 pm Friday 12:00 to 7:00 pm Saturday 12:00 to 7:00 pm
