Nice Morning Job Done by 930am everyday M-Sat Proksch Transit is a United States Postal Service (USPS) contractor hauling mail from Dodgeville Post Office . Proksch Transit has an immediate openings available in e. Schedule Route is a dedicated morning start time of 610am loading at Dodgeville Post Office then traveling to smaller post offices to include Edmund, Linden, Cobb, Highland, Montfort, Livingston and Rewey. The driver loads outgoing (return)mail from Rewey and bringing all mail back to Dodgeville Post Office ending your morning around 925am. This route will run Monday -Saturday Compensation Competitive pay starting at $25.61 per hour, increasing with experience and employee longevity. Sign on bonus and referral bonus available after 90 days of satisfactory employment. Paid holiday's and paid vacation after one year of employment. Benefits $6.16/hour which include a Short Term Disability, Life Insurance, 401(k) retirement, and cash options. Paid holidays and 2 weeks paid vacation after one year of employment. Other bonuses include a sign-on bonus after 90 days of satisfactory employment and referral bonuses. Job Requirements Valid U.S. driver's license (CDL or non-CDL) Experience in transportation with box trucks, commercial driving, or heavy equipment. Ability to pass a D.O.T. physical and drug test. Ability to pass a federal background check for access to U.S. Mail. Ability to lift 75 pounds. Complete the job daily within the guidelines of company procedures and policies, as well as federal and state regulations for operating motor vehicles. Guidelines include maintaining schedule and arriving on time daily, filling out paperwork, inspecting the truck before, during, and after the trips, and performing light mechanical maintenance duties on the truck, to name a few.
