Job description Truck Driver

• Dedicated Tanker, home daily.

Duties:

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer.
• Transport goods and materials to designated locations.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations.
• Inspect vehicles and trailers before and after each trip to ensure they are in proper working order.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
• Communicate with dispatch to receive instructions and updates on routes.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and delivery protocols.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver.
• Must have tanker endorsement.
• Experience with route driving and delivery operations.
• Familiarity with various types of trucks, such as tanker trucks and tractor-trailers.
• Experience with refrigerated trailers and dry vans preferred.

Skills:

• Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
• Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents.
• Ability to operate trucks safely in various weather conditions.
• Strong communication skills to interact with dispatch, customers, and coworkers.
• Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.
• Physical stamina to handle the demands of long-haul driving if necessary.
