Full Job Description Defense Senior Specialist, Power Supply Design Engineer Rochester, New York Salary:

$110,000•$150,000 + Relocation Assistance U.S. Citizenship Required (Must be eligible to obtain Secret Security Clearance) 9/80 Work Schedule•Every Other Friday Off An industry-leading aerospace and defense organization is seeking a highly motivated Senior Specialist, Power Supply Design Engineer to join a collaborative engineering team developing advanced communication systems and ruggedized radio products. This role is responsible for the design, development, and validation of DC-DC and AC-DC power supply solutions supporting mission-critical applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in analog/digital power converter design, schematic capture, simulation, testing, and cross-functional product development. Key Responsibilities Design and develop DC-DC and AC-DC power supply topologies (single-phase and 3-phase) ranging from 50W to 2kW Develop schematics and support PWB layout best practices for rigid and rigid-flex designs Perform power supply simulation and circuit analysis Support board bring-up, integration, and troubleshooting at subsystem and system levels Execute verification and validation testing Collaborate across engineering disciplines throughout the product lifecycle Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering team members Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience OR Graduate Degree with 4+ years of related experience In lieu of degree, 10+ years of power supply design experience including simulation and analysis Experience with schematic capture tools (DxDesigner and PADS preferred) U.S. Citizenship required with ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance Preferred Skills Experience with LTSPICE, MATLAB, or similar simulation tools Knowledge of isolated converter topologies and PFC design Experience with MIL-STD-704 and
