Degreasing Operator

PennEngineering is seeking a motivated, excited, individual to be a part of our Manufacturing Team . As the Degreasing Operator at PennEngineering, you'll collaborate with teams that do truly amazing things. This position will be responsible for safely loading and unloading degreasing machines and the quality of the product coming out of the machines. The operator will need to perform daily checks and maintain proper fluid levels. The operator moves product to next operation utilizing carts, manual jack and power jack. WHAT YOU WILL DO

: Safely loads and unloads product from degreasing machines. Verifyand maintain product identification. Move product to next operation utilizing carts, manual jack and power jack. Maintain proper fluid levels for wash and rinse tanks. Completes washer titration, records results and makes additions as needed to maintain proper levels. Safely cleans out machine once per shift. Operates bead blaster, maintains media level and removes waste from machine. Safely operates chip separator to remove chips from product. Verifies containers are free of oil and debris, clean out as needed. Safely, efficiently and effectively performs job functions and tasks to assist in meeting goals. Participate in team meetings and work well with team members. Actively participate in continuous improvement activities to assist team in meeting goals. Find and utilize control plans on computers to ensure product quality. Find and follow department procedures on computer. Segregate, document and control non-conforming products. Report faulty machine conditions immediately and notifies leadership or maintenance if any repairs or adjustments are needed. Obtain empty containers and skids for use. Cleans machines and shop floor area on a daily basis to keep work area organized and clean at all times. Verify all calibrated items are current prior to use. Visually inspect product for cleanliness and verifies product is dried properly. Assists with loading and unloading freight elevator. Observes all safety regulations in all duties. Performs other duties as required.

Requirements:

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

: High school diploma or GED. Basic computer skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

: Must be able to lift and pull approximately up to 50 lbs. Must be able to stand approximately 8-10 hrs. a day. Able to bend, twist, and squat in sometimes awkward positions for prolonged periods of time while exerting force (pushing or pulling). Visual acuity for detailed work. Manual dexterity. Compensation:

$20 - $21.00
