Deli Associate/Prep Cook

Overview We are looking for someone who genuinely cares about the work they do and wants to continuously improve. Someone who takes pride in maintaining standards as well as being a team player every day. Safety, cleanliness, and attitude are our main focus here at Epicurean Feast Café. Punctuality, responsibility, and dependability are all a must. All applicants must have transportation to and from work. Previous experience is desired but not mandatory. This position is Monday-Friday 7:30am-1:30pm Duties Volume Prep work- make wraps/grilled items, slice meats/cheese Maintain pre-made item par levels, stock front grab and go items Prepare made to order wraps/subs/sandwiches/salads Maintain friendly attitude while interacting with customers is a MUST Properly stock items by date in café Willingness to learn proper cooking techniques Self-Motivated and Accountable Dependable Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining quality and presentation. Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, marinating, and cooking ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food storage practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service times. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages or needs. Adhere to all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation. Skills Proven experience in the food industry, preferably in a restaurant or fine dining environment. Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and culinary techniques. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and teamwork mentality. A passion for cooking and commitment to delivering high-quality meals.
