Responsibilities Supervise all aspects of deli operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high standards of quality and freshness. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to maintain profitability. Oversee POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Train and develop staff on food safety procedures, customer service excellence, and proper food handling techniques. Lead shift management by coordinating staff schedules, assigning tasks, and ensuring smooth daily operations during busy hours. Maintain compliance with health regulations and safety standards to guarantee a clean and safe environment for both staff and customers. Foster a team-oriented culture by interviewing candidates, onboarding new employees, and providing ongoing training & development opportunities. Experience Proven management experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment, preferably within a deli or similar food service setting. Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management with a focus on quality control. Demonstrated supervisory skills with experience in staff training, performance management, and team leadership. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS along with cash handling procedures. Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations applicable to the food industry. Prior experience in hospitality management or fine dining environments is highly desirable.
