Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality food items in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, strong time management skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities Prepare and serve deli items in accordance with food safety standards and company policies. Assist customers with their selections, providing recommendations and upselling additional items when appropriate. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the deli area, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service. Monitor food inventory levels and assist in restocking as needed to ensure product availability. Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly. Requirements Previous experience in food preparation or culinary roles is preferred. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Experience in deli service or fast food restaurant settings is beneficial. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Previous experience in grocery stores or cafes is advantageous but not required.
