Deli Brand Ambassador & Trainer Working In Retail Grocery Stores Supporting Boar's Head Brand Products About us: Heritage Deli Provisions is an authorized Local Purveyor of the Boar's Head Brand. We are a family-owned business based out of Minneapolis, MN and expanding our sampling team in the Grand Forks market.

Overview :

The Deli Brand Ambassador is responsible for presenting and sampling Boar's Head Brand premium delicatessen products to consumers in local retail stores. We also train our retail partners on the features & service of the products, which include sandwich programs and service counter. Job Description:

Essential Functions 1.Selling Events Build awareness of Boar's Head Brand premium delicatessen products by engaging consumers through product sampling. Actively promote Boar's Head Brand products by educating consumers on flavor, nutritional information, and complimentary products and applications. Possess a positive, energetic, and serving attitude. Complete additional activities or special projects as assigned. 2.Trainer

• Grow working capacity of Deli staff regarding Boar's Head Brand products and service model. Facilitate behind the counter training and log training modules completed.
• Educate on various programs ie: sandwich program.
• Ability to review inventory levels, and help manage sell by dates for ultimate product freshness.
• Merchandise displays.

Minimum Requirements Selling Event Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. 3 months of experience in a customer service or similar role Basic computer skills, own a smart phone/device. Experience with Deli is preferred but not required. We can train! Keep work area neat and clean; exhibit good food safety and sanitation practices Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to different retail locations within assigned area. Ability to transport and set-up a folding table, utensils, platters, etc. Classroom, E-learning, and hands on training is provided. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for a minimum of 4 hours straight, in a 6 to 8 hour shift. Ability to bend, twist, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. Ability to lift or carry objects weighing up to 30 lbs.; push or pull objects up to 50 lbs. Working Conditions Ability to multi-task and have strong communication skills. Able to hold a serving attitude during hectic business times. Be able to honor retailer code of conduct on premises.

Time Type:

Part time with full time potential. If candidate lives in Fargo, must be willing to visit Grand Forks twice per week.

Pay:

$21.50-$24.50 per hour, 32 hours is eligible for benefits
