Delivery Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities Deliver merchandise to customers. Assist in the completion of necessary paperwork, including delivery invoices and truck stop reports, according to company standards. Assist in calling customers to notify them of changes in delivery times. Notify supervisor of any customer complaint so the company can correct the problem. Responsibly assist the delivery driver in following all traffic laws when operating a company vehicle. Assist in preparing merchandise for delivery. Assist in receiving merchandise. Assist in maintaining and cleaning delivery vehicles and equipment. Attend training meetings, as required. Pick up merchandise from vendors, as required. Follow company policies regarding safety measures and precautions. Minimum Qualifications It is necessary for the Delivery Assistant to have and to be able to perform the above mentioned duties, including: Lifting products weighing up to 150 pounds Pass a pre-employment and continuing random drug tests ( includes marijuana ) Pass a criminal background check. Your record doesn't need to be spotless - it just needs to be reasonable / appropriate for the role.
