Delivery Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires strong customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting, as well as proficiency in operating different types of vehicles, including vans and forklifts. Duties Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products using pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary. Ensure all deliveries are completed on time while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and delivery confirmations. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including moving products and organizing inventory. Ability to lift/ carry 50 pounds Skills Proficient in driving various types of vehicles, including manual transmission vehicles. Experience with heavy lifting and moving large items safely. Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients during deliveries. Familiarity with warehouse operations, including the use of pallet jacks and forklifts. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational skills to manage delivery schedules effectively.
