Delivery Driver

We are looking for a responsible delivery driver to distribute our local farm products to our customers 2 days/ week. Currently we are hiring for 2 days per week delivery position, Wednesday & Thursday. You will be driving one of our vehicles, which are either a full size Ford Transit van or a passenger minivan. Vans are equipped with devices for routing & delivery information, but operational cell phone is required for questions throughout the day. This is a year-round position. Starting pay is $17.00 on payroll (meaning it will be 'on the books' and taxes taken appropriately). Shifts are usually about 7 - 9 hours. We attempt to keep the drive time to 8 hours or less, plus loading/unloading time. Drive time varies with traffic, etc. Hours are 8:00 to 4- 5 pm There will be 100+ boxes to load/unload, but rarely are they over 20 lbs each. Drivers must be able to physically handle these plus getting in and out of the van repeatedly. There is a mix of city (Baltimore & Wilmington) and suburban driving.
