Delivery Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate delivery vehicles efficiently. Duties Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products using pallet jacks and other equipment as necessary. Follow assigned routes for deliveries, ensuring adherence to schedules. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations. Assist in the warehouse as needed, including organizing inventory and preparing shipments for delivery. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver preferred. Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the day. Familiarity with operating pallet jacks and forklifts is a plus. Strong route driving skills with knowledge of local areas. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
