Delivery Driver

We are a 2nd generation wholesale grower and distributor of plant material, serving contractors, independent garden centers, municipalities, developers, golf courses, and builders throughout the Twin Cities, Greater MN, and upper Midwest. Wilson's Nursery is seeking a Delivery Driver for our New Germany, MN production and distribution nursery. Your main duty is to deliver material, but when not making deliveries, the driver will assist with various tasks around the nursery. Having a CDL is not required for this position but it is rewarded if you do have it. This is a full time seasonal position M-F 7:30-5:00 P.M., but we are flexible as needed. We operate between April and December. Enjoy your winters off by traveling and ice fishing!

The main responsibilities of this role are: Delivery Driver Delivers high-quality products to our customers in a safe, courteous and timely manner. Establishes and maintains excellent relations with our customers. Reviews and verifies invoices and purchase requests to ensure accuracy. Inspects delivery vehicles and ensures the safety and security of the loading and unloading process. Contacts customers to confirm delivery details. Determines placement of merchandise, follows safety and lifting protocols during deliveries, and conducts safety reviews. Maintains delivery logs and records. When not delivering material, you may be asked to help our Order Fulfillment department pull orders for customers. You may also be asked to jump on a lawn mower and mow around the nursery. There are plenty of tasks around the nursery that can be done when not delivering material.

Qualifications for this position are:

Must be able to acquire Medical Examiners Certificate and have Drivers License, along with having an acceptable driving record. Ability to perform additional nursery related or maintenance work preferred. Does not need a special license (CDL).
