Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products along designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Manage delivery schedules efficiently, ensuring timely arrivals at customer locations. Engage with customers professionally, providing exceptional service and addressing any questions or concerns. Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, utilizing strong sales techniques and product knowledge. Conduct routine vehicle inspections, perform heavy lifting of packages or merchandise, and report any maintenance issues promptly. Organize deliveries for optimal route efficiency, maintaining accurate records of deliveries made and pending. Skills Proven experience in commercial driving or route driving with a clean driving record. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as part of daily duties. Knowledge of merchandising techniques to enhance product displays at delivery points. Organizational skills for managing multiple deliveries and maintaining accurate documentation. Background in military service is a plus, demonstrating discipline, reliability, and teamwork.
