First Supply is looking for an outgoing individual that thrives on providing outstanding customer service to add to our Delivery Driver team. As a Delivery Driver , you will be responsible transporting, and delivering products safely and efficiently to customers, job sites, or business locations. This role supports on-time delivery, accurate order handling, vehicle safety, and professional customer service while following company procedures and applicable transportation regulations. Responsibilities Deliver merchandise to customers in a timely and efficient manner in a non-CDL vehicle Operate delivery vehicles safely and in compliance with company policy and traffic laws Provide courteous, professional service during customer interactions Assist in loading and unloading merchandise on vehicles Ensure load is securely fastened and transported safely Check orders for accuracy and damage; check pack slips for special instructions Obtain proof of delivery. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and any issues encountered Perform routine vehicle checks and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly Adhere to Company policy if involved in a motor vehicle accident in a Company vehicle Report operating problems or maintenance needs on vehicles Inform supervisor of shortages, overloads or damaged merchandise or customer complaints Maintain vehicle in neat and clean condition; remove empty skids, pallet jacks, carts, and debris from the truck. Refuel vehicle as directed. Other duties as assigned Qualifications High School diploma or GED required Valid Driver's License with clean driving record required Valid medical card or the ability to obtain a medical card and be at least 21 years of age Two years of truck driving experience preferred Prior warehouse or distribution experience a plus Ability to lift up to 75 pounds Basic computer or RF scanner skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team About First Supply First Supply ® is a leading main channel wholesale distributor, providing industrial customers and building contractors with an extensive line of products and services.
