We work closely with owners, architects and the entire planning team well before ground is broken; providing cost analyses, scheduling information, and value engineering services to ensure that our client can make informed decisions leading to a timely finish of the highest quality and the best value. Summary This role is responsible for transporting equipment, materials, and tools to and from job sites using a variety of vehicles ranging from pickup trucks to semi tractor-trailers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Driver:
Deliver and pick up construction equipment, tools, and materials to/from job sites Operate a range of vehicles including pickups, flatbeds, and semi tractor-trailers Secure loads properly to ensure safe transport Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues Assist with loading and unloading of equipment and materials Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies Coordinate with yard staff and project teams to meet delivery schedules
Documentation and Compliance:
Maintain accurate DOT records, including driver logs, inspections, and certifications, and ensure ongoing compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1+ year experience operating a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers Ability to safely load, secure, and transport equipment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Demonstrated computer proficiency (MS Office 365
  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency and meet challenging work goals Ability to maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures Ability to possess and maintain exceptional work ethic as well as uphold company values and demand the highest standard of conduct from self and others
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience in construction or equipment delivery Familiarity with DOT compliance and regulations Forklift or equipment operation experience Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus
Other:
Valid CDL (Commercial Driver s License) and ability to maintain a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record. Travel up to 10%

Ability to maneuver on ladders and scaffolding, walk through sand or mud, climb on and around vehicles and construction equipment .
Pay Range:
$95,700 to $108,000 annually Pay is based on many factors including but not limited to location, education, skill, experience, training, certifications, and other business needs. In addition to base salary, Union Sumembers are eligible for benefits through their union, such as: union pension, health & welfare plan, vacation, and any other fringe benefits provided for in the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
