Delivery Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed. Duties Operate delivery vehicles such as vans or box trucks to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, ensuring safe handling of items. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience as a delivery driver, courier, or in commercial driving is preferred. Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and handle physical demands of the job. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing delivery schedules. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
