DELIVERY DRIVER FEDEX

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The delivery areas out of this station are the Pasadena and Curtis Bay zip codes. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate various types of vehicles, including box trucks and stepvans. Responsibilities Safely drive and operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and manual transmission vehicles. Load and unload products using pallet jacks and forklifts, ensuring proper handling of goods. Follow designated routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery confirmations. Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including organizing inventory and preparing shipments. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license. Must have clean background and driving record. Familiarity with operating commercial vehicles and performing heavy lifting tasks. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Experience with route driving and knowledge of local roadways is preferred. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for maintaining accurate delivery records.
