Duties Safely operate a box truck or courier vehicle to deliver products to various locations, adhering to planned routes and schedules Load and unload goods using manual lifting techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts as needed, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols Verify delivery addresses, obtain signatures, and complete delivery documentation accurately Maintain communication with dispatchers regarding route progress, delays, or issues encountered during deliveries Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, stock replenishment, and organizing shipments before departure Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance needs promptly Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions or concerns professionally and courteously during deliveries Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with knowledge of route driving best practices Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmission Ability to lift heavy items safely and perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting or moving goods Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; prior commercial driving experience preferred Knowledge of local traffic laws and safety regulations related to commercial driving Embark on a rewarding journey where your driving expertise makes a real difference!
