Delivery Technician

Description Job Summary:

To Make deliveries and setup, pull supplies, clean equipment and instruct / teach patients on proper use and safety of equipment

Core Responsibilities:

Delivery and setup of equipment Pull and load equipment Contact patient / caregiver to set up time and provide teaching on proper use of equipment Solicit additional services Complete documentation Delivery packets Driver logs•pre-trip inspection, Equipment maintenance logs, cleaning logs Oxygen Trans fill Fill O2 portables according to FDA guidelines Inspect, clean, label and set up for filling Complete, maintain and verify logs Receiving, filling and distribution of tanks Clean and service equipment according to policy and procedure manuals Inspect and repair as needed Label all new equipment

Requirements Skills and Knowledge:

Must have customer service skills•dealing with patients and caregivers in a stressful time Must have good assessment skills Additional Information (optional): Must be able to adapt to many different situations•limited space, time restraints, un-sanitary conditions

Education/Training:

High School Diploma Work Experience:

One-year experience in delivery or medical background

Supervisory/Management Experience:

Physical/Environmental Demands:

Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
