Purpose of Position:
Del Monte Foods is the Foods Division of Fresh Del Monte, a global grower, producer and marketer of fresh, value-added, and shelf-stable produce. Del Monte Foods has a powerful portfolio of brands, including the iconic Del Monte®, Contadina® and S&W®. We are currently seeking a Demand Planning Analytics Manager. The Demand Planning Analytics Manager is responsible for managing the S&OP process to drive the volume forecast for enterprise planning and execution. The Senior Manager Demand Planning is responsible for managing one or more Strategic Business Units, building and leading the cross functional team in achieving best-in-class performance in demand forecasting.
Accountabilities:
Demand Analytics & Reporting Support the development and maintenance of demand forecasting analytics and reporting using SAP and Power BI Analyze forecast performance (accuracy, bias, error) and highlight key drivers of variance Extract and transform data from SAP BW to support reporting and analysis Provide insights into trends such as seasonality, promotions, and customer behavior Forecast Performance Tracking Produce and maintain KPI reporting (forecast accuracy, bias, value add) at multiple levels (SKU, customer, channel) Build and enhance Power BI dashboards to automate and visualize performance metrics Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in forecast performance Tools & Data Management Leverage SAP (e.g., IBP/APO or ECC) and BW to extract, validate, and manage demand data Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems (SAP, BW, and reporting tools) Maintain and enhance reporting tools and dashboards, with a focus on Power BI development Partner with IT and data teams to troubleshoot data issues and improve data flows Process Support & Improvement Support the execution of the demand planning cycle through data preparation and analysis Assist in implementing enhancements to forecasting tools and methodologies Cross-Functional Collaboration Work with Demand Planners to understand forecast changes and assumptions Partner with Sales and Marketing to incorporate commercial inputs into reporting and analysis Align with Finance on key assumptions and data consistency
Minimum Skills Required:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Analytics, Economics, or related field Consumer products, grocery, or mass merchandising experience a plus 2-5 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain analytics, or related field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and data accuracy Ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights Strong communication and collaboration skills Eagerness to learn and grow within demand planning and analytics
