Google Reviews Responsibilities Include:

• Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including restorative dentistry, TMJ therapy, and minor surgery, ensuring smooth workflow and patient comfort.
• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and maintaining a sterile environment following infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
• Take dental radiographs ensuring accuracy and patient safety.
• Manage patient records by updating medical documentation, medical records, and dental coding within Ascend.
• Provide chairside assistance through four-handed dentistry techniques, supporting the dentist efficiently while maintaining excellent patient rapport.
• Maintain infection control standards by adhering to OSHA guidelines and ensuring all clinical areas are clean and organized at all times.

Qualifications Previous experience working in a dental clinic setting is highly preferred; familiarity with dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and NJ x ray license is essential. Knowledge of infection control practices including aseptic technique and sterilization procedures is required. Strong understanding of dental assisting procedures including chairside assisting, X-ray taking, and vital signs measurement, and medical imaging techniques. Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to multitask efficiently, and work well with others.
