Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in dental assisting, with experience in various dental procedures and patient care. As a Dental Assistant, you will support dentists during treatments, manage patient records, and ensure the smooth operation of our dental practice while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Duties Assist dentists during a wide range of dental procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and ensuring an aseptic environment. Manage patient records accurately within Eaglesoft, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide chairside assistance by taking dental X-rays, handling dental instruments, suctioning, and maintaining patient comfort throughout procedures. Maintain infection control protocols and adhere to strict aseptic techniques to prevent cross-contamination. Support administrative tasks including scheduling appointments as a dental receptionist and managing medical documentation. Requirements Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy. Proficiency with Eaglesoft for managing medical records and documentation. Familiarity with infection control practices, sterilization procedures, and aseptic techniques. Ability to perform X-ray procedures accurately while adhering to safety standards. Excellent communication skills combined with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting. Dental assisting license, CPR certification and radiology certification required.

From $23.00 per hour
