Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled, reliable and team-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of prosthodontics, oral Implantology, oral surgery and general dentistry. Applicant must have strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Experience with prosthodontics, oral surgery, dental implants and restorative dentistry is highly recommended. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Charting patients in Dentrix Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control protocols. Take and develop X-rays as needed while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Maintain accurate medical records and patient information using dental systems. Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care instructions. Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow within the office. Experience Previous experience in dental assisting is mandatory. Familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques is advantageous. Proficient in handling medical records and understanding HIPAA compliance. Experience with Dentrix is helpful Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients of all ages. $21.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
