Job Description

First Smiles Dental, located in Camden, SC, is currently seeking a dental assistant to join our team. Candidates must have graduated from a Dental Assisting program as well as being CPR & X-ray certified. Nitrous certification a definite plus.
BI-LINGUAL CANDIDATES ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY.
Candidates must also have a desire to work with children. Job duties include, but are not limited to: Greeting patients/parents in a professional manner. Ability to take x-rays. Ability to perform dental cleanings on patients. Ability to review patient's previous service history. Educate patients on oral health and post-operative care instructions. Willingness to learn and become proficient in charting patients' previous dental history and present needs as outlined by the Dentist. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment. Ability to effectively communicate. Must be knowledgeable of dental instruments and dentition. Assist in keeping track of supply use and needs. Daily housekeeping duties. Proof of graduation from an accredited dental program, as well as current CPR certification. Send resume to fsdrecords@gmail.com .
