Dental Assistant

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials. Ensure patient comfort by providing support and reassurance throughout their visit. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness in the dental clinic to adhere to safety protocols. Perform basic laboratory tasks as needed, including taking impressions and fabricating temporary crowns. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care. Handle administrative tasks such as medical coding and assisting at the front desk when required. Qualifications Knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy is essential. Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is an advantage. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members. Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a busy environment. Certification as a Dental Assistant or relevant training is preferred. Must be qualified in Basic Life Support. A positive attitude, attention to detail, and commitment to providing excellent patient care are essential qualities for success in this role.
