Dental Assistant - Orthodontics / Pediatric Dentistry Medford, NJ Part-Time (Evenings Available) About Us We are a modern, family-owned pediatric dentistry and orthodontic office in Medford, NJ, founded by a husband-and-wife team. Our practice is focused on providing a friendly, high-quality experience in a clean, modern, and family-oriented environment. We are a growing startup office looking for an energetic and dependable Dental Assistant to join our team as we continue to grow. Position Overview We are seeking a Dental Assistant who is comfortable primarily assisting in orthodontics, with some crossover into pediatric dentistry as needed. Experience in orthodontics is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Schedule Part-time Primarily afternoons/evenings Must be available Tuesday and Thursday evenings Office is currently open two clinical evenings per week, with plans to expand the schedule as the practice continues to grow Flexibility is a plus Responsibilities Assist with orthodontic procedures (braces, Invisalign, adjustments, debonds, records) Assist with pediatric dental procedures as needed Take digital scans, photos, and radiographs Sterilization and operatory setup/breakdown Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment Help create a positive and welcoming patient experience Qualifications Dental assisting experience preferred Orthodontic experience is a plus NJ X-ray certification strongly preferred Friendly, dependable, and team-oriented Strong communication and organizational skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment What We're Looking For Someone with a positive personality and great chairside manner A team player who enjoys working with kids and families Someone adaptable who is excited to grow with a newer office Professional, reliable, and motivated Why Join Us?
