Dental Assistant

Responsibilities:

Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and smooth workflow. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing and arranging dental instruments and equipment. Take dental X-rays and process them for diagnostic purposes, adhering to strict safety protocols. Welcome and prepare patients for dental examinations and treatments, addressing their concerns and providing support throughout their visit. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions. Assist in dental charting and maintaining accurate patient records. Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed. Collaborate with the dental team to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient dental office environment.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a recognized Dental Assistant program preferred. Certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA) from an accredited agency. years of experience as a Dental Assistant, with a strong understanding of dental procedures and terminology. Proficiency in taking dental X-rays and knowledge of infection control protocols. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work well within a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
