We have the latest in dental technology and strive to offer our patients a wonderful experience. Teamwork is a must here. Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant, where your enthusiasm and expertise will directly enhance patient care and streamline our dental practice operations. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional chairside assistance, support clinical procedures, and ensure a welcoming environment for all patients. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help us deliver top-quality dental services. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting while making a meaningful difference in people's oral health. Duties Assist dentists during a variety of procedures- primarily restorative, with precision and care Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and maintaining aseptic techniques to uphold infection control standards Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced medical imaging equipment such as 3D scanners and X-ray machines, ensuring patient safety and comfort Manage patient records efficiently using Eaglesoft while adhering to HIPAA regulations for confidentiality Support the reception area by performing dental receptionist duties such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and updating medical documentation Measure vital signs and assess patient comfort levels before procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health protocols Maintain a clean, organized clinic environment by following infection control protocols and ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized Skills Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting and medical terminology to support diverse dental procedures Experience with scanning and crown design (CEREC) Experience with Eaglesoft for accurate recordkeeping and documentation Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and ensure compliance with healthcare standards Ability to operate dental imaging equipment including X-ray machines and 3D scanners safely and effectively Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge relevant to dentistry along with infection control practices Excellent communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with dentists, hygienists, patients, and administrative staff Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a real impact!
