Duties Assist dentists during a variety of procedures- primarily restorative, with precision and care Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and maintaining aseptic techniques to uphold infection control standards Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced medical imaging equipment such as 3D scanners and X-ray machines, ensuring patient safety and comfort Manage patient records efficiently using Eaglesoft while adhering to HIPAA regulations for confidentiality Support the reception area by performing dental receptionist duties such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and updating medical documentation Measure vital signs and assess patient comfort levels before procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health protocols Maintain a clean, organized clinic environment by following infection control protocols and ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized Skills Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting and medical terminology to support diverse dental procedures Experience with scanning and crown design (CEREC) Experience with Eaglesoft for accurate recordkeeping and documentation Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and ensure compliance with healthcare standards Ability to operate dental imaging equipment including X-ray machines and 3D scanners safely and effectively Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge relevant to dentistry along with infection control practices Excellent communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with dentists, hygienists, patients, and administrative staff Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a real impact!
