Dental Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Assist the doctor in dental procedures
• Clean operatories
• Sterilize instruments
• Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
• Lab work
• Handle patient inquiries and provide information about services offered
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations in handling patient information
• Perform office and equipment maintenance

Experience:

• Previous experience working as an assistant in a dental office is preferred, but not required
• Familiarity with dental office software systems, such as Dentrix or Epic, is a plus

Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in handling patient information
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy
