Job Description

Overview At 434 Dentistry, we go the extra mile for our patients and fellow team members because what we do truly matters. Our modern, patient-centered dental practice is looking for an experienced and motivated Front Desk & Treatment Coordinator who is passionate about helping patients and creating an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have dental front desk experience, strong communication skills, and confidence discussing treatment plans, scheduling, insurance benefits, and financial arrangements with patients. Responsibilities include answering phones, coordinating appointments, verifying insurance benefits, processing claims and pre-estimates, and helping patients understand their treatment and financial options. Attention to detail, professionalism, and a positive attitude are extremely important in this role. Knowledge of Eaglesoft is preferred. Dental assisting experience is a plus, as occasional support with digital X-rays, scans, or assisting the clinical team may be needed during busy times. Experience with Eaglesoft and Lighthouse 360 is preferred but not required. Responsibilities Answer incoming calls and assist patients with scheduling and rescheduling appointments Greet patients and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit Present treatment plans and discuss financial arrangements with patients Verify dental insurance benefits and communicate coverage information clearly Process insurance claims, pre-estimates, and review EOBs Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed Coordinate patient flow and help maintain an efficient daily schedule Follow up with patients regarding pending treatment and unscheduled appointments Communicate professionally with insurance companies and patients regarding claims and benefits Support office production and scheduling goals through strong organization and communication Assist with patient reminders and office communication systems, including Lighthouse 360 Collaborate closely with the doctor, hygienists, assistants, and front desk team to ensure a positive patient experience Occasionally assist the clinical team with digital X-rays, scans, or chairside support if qualified and needed Qualifications Minimum 2 years of dental front desk experience preferred Knowledge of dental insurance, claims, pre-authorizations, and EOB processing preferred Strong verbal communication and customer service skills Professional, friendly, and confident when interacting with patients Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Comfortable discussing treatment plans and financial arrangements with patients Dependable, team oriented, and proactive Experience with Eaglesoft is a plus Experience with Lighthouse 360 is a plus Dental assisting experience is a plus Ability to take digital X-rays or perform digital scans is a plus Skills across Microsoft Office Suite along with health information management knowledge. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and data security is essential.
Pay:
$25.00 - $29.00 per hour
