Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and organized Dental Front Office Assistant to join our vibrant dental team. In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our practice, providing exceptional patient service while managing administrative operations with efficiency and professionalism. Your energetic approach will ensure smooth clinic flow, accurate documentation, and seamless communication between patients, providers, and insurance companies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a positive patient experience while supporting the overall success of our dental practice. Duties Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures using dental office management software such as Dentrix . Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility, and handle insurance verification processes . Schedule appointments accurately and coordinate patient flow throughout the day. Collect payments, process co-pays Maintain organized patient records, review documentation for accuracy, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for health information management. Answer multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, handle appointment rescheduling, and address patient inquiries promptly Assist with intake procedures, including collecting medical history forms and updating patient information. Skills Experience with dental office management software including Dentrix is a plus Strong knowledge of dental terminology Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and effective phone etiquette Skilled in support tasks such as documentation review, filing, data entry, and appointment scheduling Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced dental clinic environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks Join our team where your enthusiasm for delivering outstanding patient care meets your expertise in a dental office administration!
