Dental Hygienist

Job description Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care and committed to providing high-quality dental hygiene services. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and educating patients on proper dental hygiene practices. You will work closely with dentists and other dental professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. Duties Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and conducting oral examinations. Administer preventive dental care, including cleanings, scaling, and polishing of teeth. Utilize dental imaging techniques to assist in diagnosing dental conditions. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, dietary recommendations, and the importance of regular dental visits. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations using Dentrix software. Discuss Invisalign treatment with those patients who needs it. Ensure the dental office environment is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Skills Strong background in patient care with a focus on comfort and education. Proficiency in using Dentrix or Eaglesoft software for patient management. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality. Ability to conduct thorough patient assessments and utilize medical imaging effectively. Experience in a dental office setting with familiarity in four-handed dentistry techniques. Skills in assisting during various dental procedures, ensuring efficiency and patient safety. Understanding of pediatric dentistry principles is a plus.
