Job Description

Duties:
  • Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
  • Take digital dental x-rays
  • Assess patients' oral health and provide oral hygiene instructions
  • Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
  • Maintain accurate patient records using electronic systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic
  • Educate patients on proper oral care techniques and preventive measures
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care
Requirements:
  • Valid dental hygiene license in [state]
  • Associate's degree or higher in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
  • Proficiency in using dental practice management software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic
  • Knowledge of medical coding and billing procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work well in a team environment
