• Seeking Dental Hygenist to work 7-11 days per month.

Office is open:

Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and 1 Saturday per month. Office is currently closed Thursdays.

HIGHLY FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE

(Some days can be half days).

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing quality oral healthcare to our patients. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic dental office and make a positive impact on the lives of our patients.

Duties:

• Perform dental prophylaxis, including removing plaque, calculus, and stains from teeth
• Conduct thorough oral assessments and screenings
• Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays)
• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions
• Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and materials
• Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care
• Follow infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment

Requirements:

• Valid state dental hygiene license
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
• Proficient knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
• Experience working in a dental office setting preferred
• Strong communication skills to effectively educate and interact with patients
• Familiarity with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft
• Ability to take accurate vital signs and perform medical coding for insurance purposes
