Dental Hygienist

Job Summary Small, patient-focused general dentistry practice seeking a dental hygienist for 1 day per week, with the potential for additional days based on applicant preference and office needs. No weekends or late evenings required. Previous experience is welcome but not necessary — new graduates are encouraged to apply! Our office values a strong team-oriented environment and works collaboratively to provide high-quality patient care while maintaining an efficient and positive workflow throughout the practice. Duties Perform dental prophylaxis and periodontal maintenance procedures Take radiographs Conduct comprehensive periodontal charting and oral health assessments Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care Assist in developing individualized treatment recommendations Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation Ensure proper sterilization and infection control protocols are followed Help create a comfortable and positive patient experience Collaborate closely with the dentist and team to support efficient patient care and workflow Requirements Active dental hygiene license in the state of Connecticut Current CPR/BLS certification (our office facilitates training every 2 years) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable with digital radiographs and electronic dental records New graduates are encouraged to apply; prior experience is a plus but not required Join us in providing exceptional dental care to our community while advancing your career in the field of dentistry!
