The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring optimal oral health for our patients. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing dental cleanings using GBT (Guided Biofilm Therapy), educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting in the overall management of the dental clinic. Duties Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments to maintain patient oral health. Perform infection control procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Maintain accurate medical records and document patient care in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate with patients and team members. Assist in patient assessments, including taking vital signs and evaluating oral conditions. Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive care in general dentistry practices. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies. Familiarity with Eaglesoft software for managing patient records and scheduling appointments. Experience Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist in a clinical setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and dental terminology. Experience with patient care and assessment techniques is essential. Familiarity with general dentistry practices and procedures.
