Job Description
Dental Insurance Coordinator 1015 Creekside Medical Drive, York, SC 29745 Full-time Full-time White Rose Dentistry is looking for a Dental Insurance Coordinator to join our team. This position will be based out of York, SC. We have great hours 7:30 AM
- 3:30PM and an amazing office culture. The Insurance Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of insurance claims, processing claims, and customer service. This position will be working closely with the scheduling team and providers to ensure customer satisfaction and to follow up on outstanding insurance claims. Qualifications Previous experience working in a dental office setting is a MUST
- Familiarity with managed care plans and insurance verification processes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with office software and electronic health record systems

Responsibilities:
Cheerfully greet and welcome patients, creating an outstanding first impression / experience Manage front office duties, including answering phones, checking office mail and email, communicating with patients and insurance companies Maintain an organized, effective patient/provider schedule and follow-ups, utilizing Opendental for patient scheduling and records File patient insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims, verification of benefits, and explanation of coverage Follow up of outstanding receivables, post insurance, and patient payments and process accounts receivablesSkills:
Proficiency in dental coding, Experience working in a dental or medical office setting Strong understanding of insurance verification processes and requirements Familiarity with managed care plans and insurance billing procedures Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and processing claims Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in using office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office) for data entry, record keeping, and generating reportsNote:
