We are seeking a highly organized, professional, and energetic Dental Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our practice. The ideal candidate will ensure the office runs smoothly, lead our administrative team, and provide an exceptional experience for every patient. You will be responsible for managing patient records, coordinating schedules, overseeing billing/collections, and maintaining a productive work environment for our clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations & Scheduling Manage the daily provider schedules to ensure clinical productivity. Oversee patient check-in/check-out processes and ensure all data entry is accurate. Coordinate with the clinical team to ensure seamless transitions between the front and back office. 2. Financial Management Oversee billing and collections, including daily deposits and accounts receivable. Manage insurance verification and claims processing; follow up on unpaid or denied claims. Present comprehensive treatment plans to patients, explaining costs, insurance coverage, and financing options (e.g., CareCredit). 3. Team Leadership Supervise, train, and mentor administrative staff. Conduct staff meetings to review practice goals and resolve operational issues. Manage staff schedules and input hours for payroll. 4. Patient Relations Act as the primary point of contact for patient concerns. Implement strategies to increase patient retention and new patient referrals. Maintain a high standard of professional ethics and HIPAA compliance.
