Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Dental Office Manager/Treatment Coordinator, where you will lead the daily operations of our busy dental practice while providing exceptional patient care and treatment planning support. This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your expertise in medical office management, financial oversight, and team supervision to create a smooth, efficient, and welcoming environment for both patients and staff. Your leadership will ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, optimize practice performance, and foster a positive patient experience. Duties Oversee all aspects of dental office operations, including scheduling, billing, patient records management, and compliance with HIPAA and JCAHO standards Coordinate patient treatment plans by communicating effectively with dental providers and patients to ensure understanding of procedures, costs, and financing options Manage fiscal responsibilities such as budgeting, financial management, and billing using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Eaglesoft Supervise office staff including administrative support, dental assistants, and hygienists; provide training and performance evaluations to foster a high-performing team Ensure accurate maintenance of medical records, dental charts, and documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations and practice policies Handle insurance claims processing, managed care negotiations, and utilization management to maximize revenue streams Support human resources functions including hiring, onboarding, staff scheduling, and conflict resolution to maintain a positive work environment Experience Proven experience managing a medical or dental office with strong knowledge of medical office management practices Demonstrated supervisory experience leading teams within healthcare settings Extensive familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Eaglesoft Strong understanding of medical terminology, dental procedures, and clinical workflows in a dental clinic environment Experience in fiscal management including budgeting, financial reporting, and billing processes within healthcare practices Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical records management to ensure compliance and data security Prior work in healthcare management roles involving acute care or hospital settings is advantageous but not required; veterinary or managed care experience can be beneficial for diverse healthcare backgrounds This role offers an engaging environment where your leadership directly impacts patient satisfaction and practice success.
