Job Description
The Largest privately owned Pediatric Dental Practice in Maryland is seeking a Full Time Patient Care Coordinator for our Arundel Mills Location. Do you love kids? Are you ambitious? The candidate should be positive, detail oriented, friendly, able to multi-task, and MUST work well with others.
DENTAL EXPERIENCE
isREQUIRED.
Knowledge of PPO Dental Insurance Verification, Dental Coding, and Curve Dental would be to your advantage. This candidate needs to have strong communication skills and a GREAT personality. Patience is a must! You need to have the ability to verbally relay treatment plans while feeling comfortable discussing the parents financial obligations as well as treatment options. In person, we are seeking a dedicated Patient Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in dental administrative support, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced clinic environment. Responsibilities- Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently
- Verify patient insurance coverage and process necessary paperwork
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about clinic services
- Maintain patient records accurately and ensure confidentiality
- Assist with billing tasks and handle patient payments
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow Requirements
- Proven experience as a dental receptionist, or a similar administrative role
- Familiarity with dental terminology and Curve Dental software is a plus
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a busy clinic setting
- Knowledge of phone systems and general office procedures within a dental clinic environment
