Dental Receptionist

Douglassville Family Dental Associates is seeking an experienced, skilled, long-term team member with 3 years of front desk experience .

Summary:

The Dental Patient Receptionist will perform a wide variety of dental front desk duties while excelling in Customer Service to both patients and staff. This is a FT M-F (Tuesday evening hours). Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities greet patients, utilize dentrix dental software, maintain and manage patient records in compliance with privacy and security regulations, scheduling, organize referrals to other medical specialists, inform patients of financial treatment plan options, prepare claim forms for dental insurance via software, update patient education materials Education and Experience knowledge of dental terminology, procedures and diagnosis knowledge of computer and relevant dentrix software applications knowledge of general administrative and clerical procedures working knowledge of dental insurance Key Competencies communication skills information collection and management planning and organizing accuracy customer service skills team work initiative adaptability confidentiality
