Dental Receptionist

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented dental office receptionist to join our amazing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in verifying insurance information. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and coding, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental office environment.

MUST HAVE 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE IN DENTAL INSURANCE VERIFICATION

Responsibilities Verify insurance coverage and benefits for dental procedures, calculate patient co-pays. Check patients in and verify all patient forms are complete Knowledge of patient communication software like Yapi. Provide support in the front office, including answering patient inquiries, answering phones, confirming and scheduling appointments, managing specialists referrals. Skills Experience with managed care processes and insurance verification is required. Strong understanding of coding practices within a dental office setting. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in posting insurance payments . Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism and a positive attitude. Strong communication skills to interact with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers.
