Position Overview We are seeking a licensed Dentist to provide comprehensive dental care at San Angelo SSLC. The Dentist will perform a range of patient care duties under the supervision of the Medical Director, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered dental services while adhering to facility policies and applicable regulatory standards. This is a short-term contract position with the potential for extension. Key Responsibilities Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Provide clinical dental procedures appropriate to the practice setting while maintaining patient safety and dignity. Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements. Adhere to infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols consistent with HHSC and accrediting agency standards. Coordinate with the Medical Director and other clinical staff regarding patient care, referrals, and follow-up. Participate in required trainings, quality assurance activities, and meetings as requested by the facility. Ensure compliance with facility Standard Operating Procedures and accrediting agency standards, including CMS Standards, SGSSLC Policy and Directives, and HHSC Standards, Rules and Directives.
