The Procurement Department Specialist will complete a variety of specialized duties that support functional operations. The duties in the department specialist job family focus on tasks and/or work that are unique to be department. The incumbent will require knowledge and skills that are beyond what are required for general office work.
Main responsibilities:
Run daily Out of Stock Reports each Morning. Rekey mark outs from the night before, as directed. Upload all advertisement distributions. Upload all product distributions. Monitoring Deliveries and following up on any discrepancies. Entering forecast information. Respond to any customer service inquiries. We are looking for candidates who possess the following: 4-year degree preferred in Business, Marketing or related field or relevant experience of marketing, accounting and financial management practices preferred. Customer Service and/or retail experience a plus Reading, writing, math and communication skills at a proficient level, verbal and written. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel Ability to follow verbal and/or written instruction. Working knowledge of procurement, logistics and inventory management practices a plus. Ability to concentrate and deal with frequent interruptionsPhysical Environment:
Some work to be performed in a temperature-controlled environment (office). Bending, stooping and pivoting required periodically. Spends long periods of time at desk or computer terminal. Incumbent may use computers, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment in the course of normal workday. Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties. Workday is fast paced.
